Movie : Summer Wars

Hi! It's been a while since I last update my blog. Right now I'm having 5 weeks of holiday. So.. I'll use this time to update it. 

Summer Wars is a comedy and Sci-Fi anime. I don't always watch Sci-Fi anime, but this was very good! It's a warm yet tense storyline. According to MyAnimeList, this movie last for 1 hour 54 minutes. Summer Wars was aired on 1st of August 2009.

Synopsis : This story goes around a teenage boy named Kenji Koiso. His best friend is Takashi Sakuma. Both of them works as a part-timer in the Oz world, a program that controls nearly every aspects of life. Both of them running additional system maintenance on Oz. In the end, Kenji followed Natsuki Shinohara, a senior who Kenji have crush on, to her family meeting. Her family are having 90th birthday celebration of her grandmother, Sakae Jinnouchi. Then Natsuki told him to pretend to be her boyfriend. Even though he disagree with it at first, he decided to help her. That night, Kenji received 2056 numbers that he have to solved. He managed to solve it and send it back to the sender. However, something bad happened. Kenji's face, which censored, shown on tv. He's a criminal. The numbers that he solved that night was actually a code. When he managed to solved it, the hacker managed to hack the Oz world and causing so much trouble. The GPS didn't work well, the water system broke, and many more since people uses the system in their daily life. 

What actually happen in the world? How can he solve this problem? How worse can things be? (Trust me, things get even worse in the end). Don't worry, it's a happy ending. LOL! It's worth wating this anime. It was great. I almost cried at certain moment. And oh .. this anime reminds me of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). The artwork, the voice acting and their intonation. By intonation I mean.. the way they speak ..
